50238 is a dovetail mount (twists and locks) in place in the front. Th rear is attached by two wind-age screws. Getting the perfect height, that's the challenge. With a 36mm, low should work...

I think everyone will have there favorites. I'm a Weaver person, I like there Picatinny Rings. If you have a Weaver base, I like the Tactical version. Same rings, different cross-bolt size.

First time, 12ga and in my 20's and at clay targets. I really didn't think it hurt that much...until the next day. Then it hurt along with the softball size bruise I now had :)

I like my Walther hand guns, they just fit right for me. My Remmy 700 .308 could be my favorite though, but the .233/5.56 semi autos are sooo much fun to just build yourself with all the options out...
