My local range has been flooded the last 2 weekends. It's driving me nuts. I just got a Taurus Millennium Pro G2 .40 that I haven't been able to shoot.

I got a PPQ M2 .40 a few months ago and I love it. It comes with an extra +2 magazine by the way. Trigger very smooth, grip length is perfect for me. Glock and XDm are either too long or too short...

That's what I was expecting but the RCBS dies I was using recommend that as a starting point. Also the 3031 powder I was using seemed to shoot well. I noticed a little muzzle flash inside the...

As stated on my other thread, I got to shoot about 40 reloaded rounds from my 716 today using some new LR/SR magazines I bought. Everything functioned perfect, making me think the magazine was the...

As stated, I had to screw to touching the plate then TIGHTEN down a quarter turn, not back off. This seems standard for sizing dies. I guess I missed this in the manual.

The seating die on the...

Didn't get to shoot this weekend. Local range is flooded. It does seem to be short stroking except that increasing the gas should have helped this but didn't.

Ya, I've been loading handgun rounds until now. They are a little more forgiving.

It's still confusing how the empty brass would chamber just fine until I seated the bullet.

No I make sure my press is all the way up before I adjust the dies to touch the plate. So the powder drop is fine.

I'm using a progressive press. I think I just figured out most of my problem. I had the seating die set too far down so that it was distorting the brass. I did about 8 rounds and only one didn't...

Also thought I'd note that the recoil seemed harder than I expected with the muzzle brake. I have read that hard recoil can mean too much gas so maybe I should just try the "suppressed" setting on...
