Thanks for the input everyone. Sounds like I may have to consider an alternate method to pocket carry if I go with the Shield. Maybe large cargo pants pockets?? I was really sold on the LC9......

Marlin Model 60

Here's my Model 60. Picked it up on new years day. Bass Pro was out of the standard 60's with the birch stock, so I opted for the walnut stock 50th Anniversary model - it's sure worth the extra $40!

What wood is used on modern Marlin 60's. Their web site says laminate wood, but I've read that some are birch??
