I got a 513T bbl that was worn in finish....

I got a 513T bbl that was worn in finish. Degreased and then heated up with heatgun. Just hot enough you didn't want to hang onto it for very long.
Had some Birchwood Casey bluing...

I'm too tired to work on it today. Maybe tomorrow I'll transfer the location (dovetail in diff spot) to the forend and epoxy a collar in place.

Still needs a cheekpiece. Last kydex gave to a bud....

The bbl was of thin profile, if of heavier I'd have kept it. IIRC the bbl was 20".

Also had a 600 in .243...

I have taken quite a few pests with .22 rifle using CB's. 29gr bullet at 700 FPS.
Have to be close (under 25 yds IMHO) and place shots perfectly (Anschutz 141 and Remington 541T-HB did that task).
