That seems to be the prevailing attitude of everyone I speak with about this. Still have a choice to make. Should probably just buy a Kimber, save a couple thousand bucks, and be happy with that.

I am aware of that, but meant the regular military. Should have been clear about that. I doubt the American military will switch to a Glock style weapon due to safety concerns.
