I have the lr308 and I love it! It loves amaxs. I'm thinking of selling it if anyone is interested. It has an upgraded Krieger 20" barrel.

I love my dpms. It's definitely custom though. I added a jp vtac forearm, a sweet Krieger 20" barrel with an attached mucilek compensator, and a fab defense buttstock with adjustable cheeck piece...

Not sure what kind of ammo you have available over there. But if I was going to have one hunting rifle, it would be 30-06 or .308, depending on ammo availability. .308 is a little easier to shoot...
