The 1911 ain't a revolver though. I thought this was "best revolver" thread. I love my .41 mag and do carry it sometimes but the barrel is a shorter more manageable length.

Yeah there's no way I'd personally buy any scope that hasn't got a good reputation and is well known. I'd suggest a Nikon Prostaff, Bushnell Elite, Trophy, or Weaver Classic as all are decent scopes...

The only 1911 .22 conversion kits that I've seen to be both reliable and accurate are the Marvel kits. The Kimber kits are not near as good.

I sure wish somebody had told me when I was young to wear hearing protection! It just wasn't very common 45-50 years ago. Barring that, I wish some bright soul would figure out how to stop ringing...
