Yeah, the Pac-Lite compensator doesn't do much except look good. I like the black one on the 22/45 LITE since it has a short barrel.

I haven't had trouble with the loaded chamber indicator myself but have seen a few reports that it catches the casing and causes malfunctions. Some people remove it along with the magazine...

Either is a fine choice, as are many other brands. Go with what works best for you. I went with Glock and am more than satisfied. If I'd gone with the M&P or even SR9 I'd probably be just as happy.

Yes, the Ruger Mark and 22/45 upper is the serialized part so is considered the firearm. The same goes with the Pac-Lite so you have to fill out the 4473.
