Just so you know, everybody is giving you a hard time because- A magazine holds rounds, a clip is a device used to get rounds into a magazine. Maybe save you some more ribbing down the road.

For home defense, I like to have my da/sa revolver next to me, because there is no safety to mess with and almost zero chance of malfunction. I also have a short barrel pump within easy reach.

Actually, let me clarify. Sometimes 5.56 will not eject properly from a .223 due to a slight difference in the casings. Depending on the rifle tolerances, it might be fine.
