I picked up my model 59 for 450. But it is the first generation. It's about 37 years old. It was the first American built hi cap 9mm, and mine has the polished aluminum frame and nickel plated slide.

59 series is also an aluminum frame so it cuts down on a lot of weight compared to a steel frame, only a little heavier than my Ruger SR-40

I vote wasr-10 7.62x39 with a tactical folder 6 position stock, with a quad rail front grip, then you will still have money left over for upgrading the sights, light/lazer, and vertical front grip.
