I am not an expert on Mini-14 rifles. That said, our LGS has a beautiful Mini-14 in .300 BO caliber. I know very little about that caliber as well. It does appear to be a very nice gun and caliber. :)

The quality of the dies is often over looked. The dies are more often the problem then reloaders expect. Dillion dies are great as are the older RCBS "Grey" box die sets. :)
