So, you're saying you feel they have little difference when dealing with a small black bear. Not that they have little difference in general?

I wouldn't trust a .45 ACP against a bear. I'd carry a .357 Mag, 10mm, or .44 Mag at the minimum.

I think the 42 is a pointless gun in that size. Why get a .380 when there are plenty of good options that are about the same size in 9mm? Just my feelings on the matter.

I'm hoping I won't be doing that this year. If not it can go back into the account to cover the last three I bought at Christmas.

I can understand the reason behind the policy. However, it's discrimination regardless. Even when you add in the part about them being alone. It should be that they won't rent to ANYBODY, regardless...

I believe that S&W received a police order from California. I agree completely. This stupid assed law should apply to everyone. More legal violations and movements towards a police state.

I've carried many guns in .380 and I don't have anything against the round. I've had a P3AT and a P-380 and ended up with a Shield in 9mm. I must say that with the belt clip the P3AT was a dream to...

As I said in another thread, I don't like grip safeties. I love the 1911 platform also. With that, I just don't have a choice so I buck up and deal with it.
