You may "mess up less" using volume instead of weight, but measuring your charge is ALWAYS more accurate. .1gr of powder makes a world of difference in small handgun caliber loads.

Tim. I think that the responders are making a good point. Unless you have an area to shoot which is fairly close to 120v power, either the battery powered or the manual thrower may be better...
