I had a Rugar 10/22 and it was accurate and liked CCI Mini-Mags best for accuracy. Shouldn't have sold it.

Just my experience with the 10/22.

30-30 is a good all around cartridge and available in more different bullet weights and more common than the 35 Remington. It has brought down many a deer and bear. Personally I would opt for that.
