It is sad. I am 34 and just got my first shotgun. Please don't be too harsh! Mossberg 88 with the 18 1/2" barrel. I am not familiar with shotguns very much I have only shot one once before years...

I carry my xd40 service also with no problems. I am 6'1 and 215 and carry in the appendix position. I don't worry about shooting myself there bc my finger is not on the trigger when I am holstering....
