Then your choice has already been made, go for it. Don't let a criminal get ahold of your weapon no matter how many safeties it has. If said criminal gets my weapon I'm probably already dead.

I second a Walther PPQ M2 40. It's a tad bigger than a glock 23 and smaller than a glock 22. Trigger and ergonomics are leaps and bounds ahead of glock. However it does have a tad bit more muzzle...

I paid $500 for the glock new and $500 for the HK used about 7 years ago so I figure the sig is worth about $1000
