Don't know if this helps either but the P11 carries...

No problems with mty .357 LCR, It replaced my SP101 and .38 Taurus for revolver carry.
It does not have uncontrollable recoil.

Hope I'm not too late... I have both, my Shield is a .40 cal model. The Shield is a better gun overall with fit / finish and trigger pull. The KelTec has more felt recoil cause of the long trigger...

Is it the caliber per say you dont like? I keep the .380 around because of the POCKET sized guns that are available in the caliber.
