You need to remove the FSB to get almost any free float handguard assembly on, along with the delta ring assembly. If you know someone who has done it before get them to do it. PITA.:(

That was during the peak of the Klinton gun ban. A lot of MFR's let QC slide to keep up with the demand during that time. Things got back on track after it sunsetted in 04.
