I got the parts blued, next I will buff the blued...

I got the parts blued, next I will buff the blued parts with wax and then reassemble the gun

I disagree Hot Salts Bluing is not that...

I disagree

Hot Salts Bluing is not that complicated and it is the same process most modern gun makers use (including NEF). the protection against "corrosion" is the same as what the factory finish...

I was able to get my Nitre Bluing process to work. I nitre blued the floor plate screws, the trigger and the swivel mounts. I am not a very good photographer, it is very tough to get a good picture...

The stock is pretty much ready for the oil, I will seal the grain with Tru-oil then after several coats rub it down with 0000 steel wool to give it a semi-glass/satin finish. I hope I will have time...
