Where have all of the smiths here gotten their training? Im currently at Pine tech on my third year. Only one more to go and I will have my degree. Cant wait to be done and get back out in the field.

Niter bluing

How durable is niter bluing? Im just starting to niter blue and did an AR bolt carrier and would like to do a Glock slide. A few people what told me that it doesnt hold up vary well.

Whats the difference in a safety interlock and a disconnector? Does a winchester model 70 have either or both? If so what does it do?

1911 front sight height

Im pretty sure its something with the extractor or chamber. The slide does go all the way back the the round stays half way in the chamber on stuck on the breech face half way ejected

Yes it will extract rounds done manually and the gun has the 11b style extractor thats on the parts list on numrich. Does that extractor need a spring.

checking and fixing headspace on a 22 bolt gun??

I have a savage 93 and it light striking a lot, I think I am having an issue with headspace. How do i check and fix the headspace on a savage 93 22 mag?
