accessorie rail on s&w 40cal sigma.

Is there any way to mod the accessorie rail on a sigma to be able to put a regular mount in it instead of having to buy the ugly 1 from s&w? Any advice welcome. Thx every1.

I agree with the statement of not being a regular shooter. And that's why classes and plenty of practice is a must. Especially if I can't turn here in the revolver direction. 2 cents appreciated.
