I normally carry my S&W 638 in a pocket holster...

I normally carry my S&W 638 in a pocket holster or a Kel-Tek p-32 with the 10 round extension magazine. Both are loaded with JHP

will dry firing my 638 hurt it. I've always been told not to dry fire any gun, but I hear and read about alot of people doing it to practice. I just don't wanna damage my pistol.
