Jon, to me the biggest change was the grip circumference which is smaller than the M9-A1. I have large hands and found it to be more comfortable than my 92FS so I'm buying one. To me it's just a...

Beretta at the NRA annual meetings.

The new M9A3 looked good in pictures but even better in hand, Beretta is going to sell a lot of these. What really took me by surprise was one of my old favorites the PX4 Compact in INOX. First time...

I base the comment on the 226s rails cracking based on an LE dealer who had 2 separate 226s whose rails cracked after numerous classes and both around the 5K round count. I personally saw these...

I agree and this is one Sig to avoid. I bought one because I liked how it felt in hand but after a few range sessions got rid of it. They are just not reliable pistols and you're lucky to get one...

Another huge positive is how the SP2022 is built. The slide rides on machined steel rails not like the aluminum rails on the metal framed Sigs which will lead to a longer service life. I have seen...

I was at first surprised by the grip comfort as I have large hands. But the SP2022s grip feels perfect in hand kind of like the medium grip in my P320c. Firing the 2022 was very comfortable and it's...

SP2022 Range Report

I finally got my SP2022 out to the range and out of all the Sigs I've owned (5) this and my P320c are my favorites. The SP2022 performed flawlessly thru 250 rounds of assorted ammo.

There are so many good choices out there when it comes to 1911s. Until a few years ago my thinking was that a 1911 had to be a Colt and everything else was a copy. Well some of those copies turned...

The SP2022 is the sleeper in the Sig line and one of their better pistols IMO. They feel great in hand and have all the features we like in the Sig DA/SA pistols, plus the price is right. I love mine.

These P320s shoot great and I actually like the heavier trigger pull. My first range session I shot it alongside my Walther PPQ M2 which has an insanely light trigger. As good as the PPQs trigger is...

The SP2022 has a polymer frame making it somewhat unique in the Sig line, otherwise it's basically a 226.

The bolt lock up on a VZ 58 is more like that of a P38 or Beretta 92 since it has a separate locking block and not a tilting bolt. It's a very strong and smooth system.
