The 405 gr loads are mild recoil/low pressure loads, the 350 gr hp loads are hotter and kick about like a 12 ga slug.

The BLR is a nice rifle, expensive not as smooth as a win and not as nice a trigger pull as a bolt action. The one I shot (308) was accurate and comfortable to shoot.

Ruger has made some 32-20s in the Blackhawk and vaquero models, bigger and heavier than the uberti but good shooters, with good handloads it will do whatever targt loads in a 38 special will do.

Shot a 7mm-08 in a ruger compact, nice! Bought my wife a compact in 260 rem. The 7mm-08 will do anything that needs to be done at reasonable ranges with less noise recoil and cost.
