You would have to use the battle comp 1.5 and also have it pinned and welded to bring it to a total of 16". A 14.5" inch barrel and 1" muzzle device would require a SBR tax stamp.

I will say BCM for the win. Can be put together for just under $1000 with magpul furniture. You will not be disappointed. Excellent rifle and customer service.

Primary arms makes a micro dot clone of the aimpoint. I have no experience with it but have read great reviews about it with excellent customer service. I believe it's around $90.

I would keep the bolts together. Once a BCG is fired for a while you should try to keep it with the upper it was used in. They wear in together.

I kinda figured that. I found some stuff from about 4 years ago and he was running a LMT. LWRC appears to have a model rifle after him. Not sure that's what he is using now though.
