Even if you stored provisions in such an event, it is entirely possible that it all could be buried in rubble and inaccessible. I hadn't considered this before.

What are the arguments for or against using a hot load .38 or .357 cartridge for home defense? My first thought was to go with the .357 loads but am wondering if the hotter .38 loads would be easier...

When the local shops couldn't help me, I asked (emailed) Smith and they recommended I call Brownells. Brownells also recommended that very same loader.

Where to get speed loader

Wife has a S&W M&P 9c. The mag is a 12 rounder and she struggles with the last couple cartridges. I can't see a loader on the S&W site and am having trouble locating one. Any ideas?
