Is the 1911 inherently more accurate than polymer frame guns, most of which don't have a 5-inch barrel. I would expect the 1911 to hold up better for sure.

I ordered some extensions, still waiting on those, but did pickup some 7- round extended mags. That might have helped. I do seem to be doing a little better each time out.
