The only reason I was looking at the 7.62 is...
The only reason I was looking at the 7.62 is because my local LGS has Russian surplus at 50 rounds for 12 bucks
But with people saying it might cause some issues I think ill stick with the 5.56

I'm getting ready to build my first AR but due to the cost of ammo I was thinking about going with the Russian cartridge. Can I get someone opinion. Thank you.
