Another pin and weld question

When I pin and weld a brake on and ar does the pin need to be on the top or can it be on the bottom of the barrel?

using a coat hanger as pin for brake?

has anyone ever heard of using a coat hanger to pin a weld their brake to their barrel? I am trying to figure out something to use for when I attach my brake on my barrel this weekend

what silver solder do you buy for muzzle break?

I want to attach a muzzle break with silver solder....I do not want to do the blind pin because I dont have the tools at home to do it.. I know I have to buy silver solder and flux and I know the way...

fort dix is a good range also. its cheap about $60 for the year and $3 hr then on the rifle range and about $10 for 100 clay pigions. Nice facilities as well

Yea I have been looking into thoes videos a lot becuase they do look very good. The only thing is they are expensive and it would be nice to be able to get hands on work first so the work they teach...
