Colt 1878
I'll answer a few at once . . .
Yes, I got a steal -- $320!
I also bought it out of state, and since it uses modern cartridges, it had to be transferred to an FFL holder, and I'm still waiting for...

Colt 1878 .44-40
I just bought a Colt 1878 .44-40 at an auction, but it's being shipped to a local dealer with an FFL, so I can't put up a picture yet.
Anyone familiar with these guns?
Thanks, Bill

I too like SKS's! They're made out of machined or cast parts as opposed to stamped sheet metal. They may be a little heavier than AK's, but they shoot extremely well.
