My first gun

I got a Desert Eagle .44mag while I was stationed in Germany 1988. It was the first year that it was offered in that caliber. I loved it.

I have had one in .45 and never had any problems with it. You might want to check out the Sig P250. It is a very good choice for a low cost-high quality pistol.
