S&W mod 65. It's more comfortable to CC than my 1911, and it's the most versatile caliber for plinking or self defense (.38/.357) IMHO.

I didn't check FedEx, but UPS policy requires it to be shipped "Over Night Early Delivery" service which is about $70. Of course a dealer can ship it USPS for $12. :mad:

Don't do it! Spend the extra $100 - $200 and get something that works without sending it in for repair. It's gonna cost you about $70 to send the gun in for repair assuming you only have to send it...

Even from a shooting bench, unless the gun is in a Lead Sled or similar, I ALWAYS use a sling. A well adjusted sling (I like them just a touch overly tight) will just about allow you to hold a rifle...
