Yup, I mean i'm not a wimp but after 200+ rounds...

Yup, I mean i'm not a wimp but after 200+ rounds in double action my finger was blistered and then it popped when i wahsed my hands.

I'm not going to buy a new trigger and pay a gunsmith to install it just so I can keep my old one on hand. That is coat preventative in this situation

I am a firm believer that you hear way more bad than good but that doesn't change that I have read several (supposedly) first hand stories where the lock has locked up.

In regard to number 2 i think he was saying that the lock defaults to the locked position. Meaning when it fails it will fail locked, thus rendering the gun useless. Unlocking it would not help...
