I shot WWB just fine. It went bang every time but just like you mentioned it shoots about 4 inches low at 25 yrds when compared to the federals. (I also got federals for Christmas)

You can get a ruger 6.5 creedmoor 26" barrel its got basically the same ballistics as a .260. Its is about 200fps faster than the 6.5x47 lapua. and buy your ammo from Hornady. That's the best answer...

I "wipe it down" after hunting regardless of whether or not it was fired due to the moisture in the air. After every range visit, I run the bore snake thru it a couple times.

Home Defense

I'm looking for a good home defense weapon but something that would also preform well at the range. My dad suggests a M&P .45. Any other suggestions??
