hey guys,i know this is a 1911 forum.But i noticed cane's sign off says im always 10 8.What does 10 8 mean?Police terminology for in use?or in service?Or something else?thanks much.steven

At the risk of sounding uneducated i must ask,why are the low pro sights on a 1911 called hump and bump sights?i see u guys call them that often.Please enlighten me.thanks....steven
