.380 Cor-Bon Ammo

Cor-Bon ammo pushes the limit of SAAMI perameters, so reseating the bullets could pose a problem for your .380 and your health. As pointed out by "Overkill0084" let Cor-Bon make it right.

Cast bullet recommendations...

Thanks guys, I failed to mention that I'm going to begin reloading for .44Special. Since I stopped reloading about 5 years ago, when we sold our house with a well appointed garage/workshop, and...

Cast bullet recommendations

I used to reload for a Marlin 1894 and a Colt clone SAA in .44-40, and more specifically with cast lead bullets by Beartooth (?). Both guns seemed to do okay with bullets that were sized .430 (both...

Hi WDB,
You may want to edit out the offending "acronym" from your quote of my post. (Just thought I'd mention it.)

Thanks for the tip, but I was only precising from the article in Gun Tests. Needless to say, the "heavy" 158grn .38Spec +P load I mentioned is indeed just that. What pleases me is that both the...

.380 or .38Spec

Here are my two 442's. Great guns--both of them, IMHO. Two speed loaders carry the "heavy" load I mentioned in the previous post, and the other two are CCI .38Spec+P 130grn loads {the nickled cased...

Gun Tests magazine did an article on the .380 ACP round about a month ago. They also stated that that round should be the absolute minimum for self defense. It further stated that due to the...

Very nice Beretta Laramie. I've wanted one like yours for several years, but then Beretta doesn't seem to be making them anymore. All I've seen is their Colt clone.

Well AH-1,

Those are some very nice revolvers. I'm a little jealous of your Ruger Bisley. Did you shorten the barrel, or did you have a custom gunsmith do the work for you. That is one sweet...

Glock 21

Very nice stable, indeed. I had a S&W M&P in .45ACP, but I could never get used to the trigger. It was long and heavy, so I sold it to a buddy. I also had a S&W Mod 22 in .45ACP at the time, and...

.45LC revolver

Here's a shot of my Ruger NM Blackhawk in .45LC, as rendered by Bowen Classic Arms...

The grip is slightly larger than a Vaquero, but I've got large hands and these grips feel good.

Certainly a single action semi-automatic pistol, but not a SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Could you see the difference between your pistol and our REVOLVERS?

Thanks muchly. When I queried Bowen Classic Arms about replacement rosewood grips, I was told to keep the black plastic (hard rubber?) as once properly fitted with a new grip frame would really set...

Beautiful Super Blackhawk. Here's my Bowen customized Blackhawk .45LC. Everything about the revolver is slick--the grips finally fit the grip frame, which now fits the frame. The action is smooth...

.308 Winchester

I recently bought a Remington 750 Woodsmaster Carbine in .308 Winchester. I'll address why I chose this particular rifle later, but health reasons are the main reason. I read numerous postings...

Browning Buckmark Rifle

That goes for me as well--when last I spoke with Tactical Solutions, I suggested they consider making a lightweight rifle barrel for the Buckmark rifle. I was told they've had several...
