Yes I have a hawkeye in 25-06 and I do hunt with it regularly it's a little on the heavy side with the beefed-up barrel and receiver and the bolt is not as smooth as my Remington 700.But the accuracy...

one thing I didn't see in all these post.....you should consider getting the match grade barrel if you want to target shoot..I have a springfield armory .45 ACP XDm match and I can put 10 rounds...
