I'd stray away from hydraulic buffers. I've seen and heard some bad things. Besides, with a 223 it's not really necessary.

In the Army we used to throw on blank adapters that literally plug the barrel in order to create enough back pressure to cycle the bolt. Those blank round are just gun powder and are insanely dirty....

The only sights I can find in stock from Knights Armament are the micro flip ups. Does anyone know if they discontinued the regular rear 200-600m flip up sight or the regular front flip up sights...

I hate that they give ya a huge shotgun looking case with that small of a gun. One of my buddies has the exact same model. I'd start with a good sling, optic, and flip up rear sight.
