I've worked with both the 260 rem and the 6.5x55. Not much difference in performance and either will do for just about any animal short of the big bears ( when loaded with proper bullets).

I have had no problems with the four Taurus guns I have. I have not tried the 92. My "house" gun is a 9mm 24/7. Striker fired DAO with manual safety. If the 92 has the features you want go for it!
