You should have no trouble carrying your xd. I carry my xdm 3.8 daily. I use a Cleveland holster(like the suoertuck) although lately I just use a deaantia gunhide.

I have 9 and 45. I did not like the snappiness of the 40. I actually enjoy shooting my xdm 3.8 45 more than my Sr9c. However the 9 iS cheaper to shoot also.

Yes the Sr9c will work in the Sr9 holster. I have the blackhawk serpa and it works fine for the 9c. It is quite bulky though.

I like the p22. Forget the value pack ammo and use a quality ammo like minimags and it is great. Take down and reassembly is easy for me.

I have the Cleveland holster. Basically it is a leather/kydex IWB holster. I wear it all day at about the 4oclock position comfortably. I think its about $39 plus shipping.

Our first was an Sr9c and we love it. It shoots great and is very easy to conceal. My wifehas now claimed it so I had to buy an xdm 45 ;)

If looking for a carry gun, that can be used for range practice in that range I would say ruger Sr9c. If you have other guns and just want a pocket gun then the lcp is great.

I Use electric just to make it easier to hear while talking. Either work fine. My wife will use ear plugs in addition. If you have a harbor freight store they usually have the electric for 15.
