I installed the Adams Arms low profile piston system and a tac-con trigger to my AR today. Not to shabby of an upgrade if I may say so

What's funny is that thing costs more than a lot of AR's when you add up the parts. $1100 give or take. Needs a couple lasers, maybe fit in a match grade SBR barrel, suppressor, and tax stamps and...

You can finish 80% lowers with just a drill press and functionally it will be fine but they don't necessarily look too good when u open it up. Milling machine is definitely the better route to go...

Received the BCG for my 308 build and the hole in the cam pin looks like it was drilled the wrong way. Is it supposed to look like this or did somebody screw up?

Oven baked. Unlike duracoat i believe cerakote won't harden unless you bake it. Honestly the hardest part of the whole process is getting the parts to the oven without smudging anything.

It's perfectly fine to use JB weld on a lower. The lower receiver is never pressurized.

Actually it's pretty easy to do with a drill press if you're using a jig. Just buy some end mill bits. Oh, and be sure to get some jb weld because you will mess up.
