I live near Lakeland and usually shoot at Tenoroc or Saddlecreek. The latter only has a 50 yard range, but it's only $5 and great for pistols. Tenoroc has 100 yards, plus skeet, and archery areas....

I had an Offduty (I think) .38 model a few years ago. It shot decent and was light and easy to handle. Plus I think I only paid about $150 for it.

Thanks all! After more research, and more looking around, I found a used Savage 110 that I think I'm going to put on lay-away next payday. It looks new and is a smidge over $300.
