Take a look at the 5R models. Same rifling as mil spec. They r very accurate for about a grand.

Dont remember the name but the bolt latch upgrade for the Rugers takes all the fuss and frustration out of taking apart and reassemble. They had the kit at NRA convention for $55

Man just get one of each, 1911, M1, AR15, Win 30/30, Browning A5, Rem 870, Mod 700 your choice caliber same for Win mod 70. 1911 seems to be most recognizable and well respected. Sure works for me
