I am female and carry a 9mm S&W 3913. 3+ shots in a tight grouping makes an impressive hole. If you know how to use your firearm effectively, it's quite sufficient.

DH gave me my Xmas gift early. A Taurus 856 Hy-lite 6-shot revolver. I can't believe how light this thing is. It's kicking the crap out of my hand though.

Shooting his Ruger GP100 is way more fun.
