i have one with about 2000 rounds through it. great gun for the price. had a few early problems feeding but now runs good. VERY ACCURATE with any ammo.:D

I've had this gun for a long time and put thousands of rounds down the pipe. I use 180gr fp bullets and 5.3gr of Trail Boss for my practice load. This kicks all I want for 100-200 round of practice....

They kick like hell with even medium loads. The 180 gr bullet is as heavy as I can tolerate in this gun. Makes a great up close and personal weapon. Performance about equal to the .45 ACP.

.357 might be a bit light for a large bear. If you are going to use it look at buffalobore.com. They have some heavy hard cast gas checked bullets that do penetrate well. I've used their Heavy 357...

Sounds life a fair price if the gun is tight and no top strap scoring. Check the barrel with a bore scope or light. I have a 45/8 Ruger. Have killed bears, deer & pigs with it, all one shot kills....

Another good powder for .41 mag is Lil'Gun. Same velocitys as 296 &H110 with less pressure.

Great powder. All Accurate powders are great. I use #2,5,7,9 & 4100 in the various calibers I reload. very fine ball powders that meter well and exhibit low flash. Go to their web site and download...

take a look at buffalobore.com & their 155 gr hp +P loads for the .40 S&W. Loaded for self defense, it's what I carry in my .40's.

If you are going to use Accurate Powder go their web site and download their reloading manual, it's free. I load 150 & 155 grain HP's in .40 S&W. Data shows best one stop hits with 135 & 155 gr...
