More than bullet size

380 ACP is .355. 9mm is .356. 357 magnum and 38 special are .357 or .358.

Total difference of .003 but huge difference in energy delivered to target.

This makes for an interesting discussion...

I wonder why these Kimbers are not rusting in the display cases before they can be sold. If the alloy is that prone to rust it seems that it would be showing up at the retailers.

I live near Clark's custom and I did see a used one in the shop about 6 months ago.

1911s are designed to work with rimless cartridges and 9mm is so close to 38 special in every way why not 9mm...

22 conversion problems

Taurus makes a very nice 1911 but the Kimber 22 conversion slide does not work with it so if you think you might want a conversion that is something to consider.
