I would inspect or try a 1911 or possibly a glock (17) if you don't mind plastic frames.

1911/Beretta 92FS/glock 17 are the most common autoloaders, and for good reason.

I just discovered that the cargo shorts that I am partial to can fit a 1911 in the main l/r pockets with only the bottom of the magazine visible if you look at just the right angle.

Easy to remove...

There's a bunch of 10 round mags from different mfrs for 1911s. I have a 7rnd one now, and I figured having a single 10 for the house wouldn't be a bad idea.

Does anyone have experience with them...
