Aluminum works just fine as long as you are not reloading. It is certainly less expensive as well. I usually save at least $3 a box of 50 9mm rounds if i buy aluminum over brass cased ammo.

Absolutely. As a matter of fact, i have shot the 17 round mag with the extension sleeve and without. Either way, it is solid and surprisingly comfortable.

I am the not-so-proud owner of a 320 and would go back and get a Mossberg 500 in a heartbeat. In 9 months of general use (maybe 2 slugs and 8 shells of bird/buck shot per month)...

I would pass. Looks like they are in worse shape than just "rough". Once you spend the money to re-do them, you are going to spend a total close to double what they are worth in good condition.
