I used to run a vertical grip. Switched to an AVG and still grip the rifle the same way as I did before, just more surface area and a more comfortable grip. I'm sticking with the AFG.

In my opinion, cycling a semi by hand is easier than running a bolt. You just pull her back and let her fly. CB Longs cycle pretty fast on my Marlin 70.
