My wife and I were told by our Dr to not have her shoot while she was pregnant.

She said that there wasn't any studies that links shooting to birth defects but the amount of variables involved...

You could pick up any of the major polymer pistols and you'd be safe. The 10mm is a great round but your options diminish with that choice of caliber.
